About the Editor

Kirill Ershov started his journalism career in 2012 — first at a regional sports portal, then moved to Moscow to work as an editor at several national outlets. Since 2017, he has focused on the betting industry, leading the editorial team of a major Russian-language affiliate project and building fact-checking and content standards.

From 2022, he worked as an editorial consultant for iGaming projects. In 2026, he became Editor-in-Chief of Hopcott. His conviction: a good casino or betting review is honest analysis, not marketing copy.
