Mines

The mechanic is simple: a 5×5 grid hides a set number of mines. You choose how many mines to place before each round — the more mines, the higher the risk and the faster the multiplier grows.

Round steps

1. Set your bet — minimum $0.10, maximum $100.
2. Choose the number of mines — from 1 to 24. Beginners should start with 3–5.
3. Flip tiles — each safe tile increases the current multiplier, which is shown on screen at all times.
4. Click Cash Out at any moment to lock in your winnings.
5. Or keep going — but hitting a mine loses the entire bet instantly.

The game uses provably fair technology — results are generated from server and client seeds that can be verified after each round.

Mines runs on provably fair RNG — you cannot beat randomness. But choosing the right mine count and knowing when to cash out genuinely affects your long-term results.

🟢 Conservative (1–3 mines)

Minimal risk: with just 1 mine, each tile yields around 1.05–1.07x. Open 5–8 tiles then cash out. Good for building a bankroll or learning the game pace. Downsides: small multipliers, slow gains.

🟡 Balanced (5–7 mines)

The sweet spot: enough risk to produce decent multipliers (2–5x across 4–6 tiles) while keeping the probability of reaching tile four at a reasonable level. The most popular setting among experienced players.

🔴 Aggressive (15+ mines)

Almost fully mined: with 20 mines, even 2–3 safe tiles can deliver 10x+. The risk is enormous — most rounds end on the very first tile. Suited for players hunting rare, high-value wins.

Bankroll management

• Set a session limit — no more than 10% of total bankroll per session.
• Define a take-profit target (e.g. +50% of session limit) and a stop-loss level.
• Do not chase losses after a losing streak — very high volatility means those streaks can run long.
• Use auto cash-out: preset a multiplier (e.g. 2.0x) and the game exits automatically.

How to Play Mines

Before each round, players choose the number of mines to be hidden on a 5x5 grid (from 1 to 24) and place a bet. They then begin uncovering cells one at a time. Each safe cell increases the current multiplier, and the player can cashout at any point to collect winnings equal to the stake multiplied by the current value. If a cell containing a mine is uncovered, the round ends and the bet is lost. Players choose when to stop — there is no automatic crash point.

Mine Count and Risk

The number of mines set before a round directly determines the risk level. With 1 mine on the grid, the probability of hitting it on any given cell is low, and multipliers build slowly. With 20+ mines, almost every cell is dangerous, but each safe cell uncovered produces a much higher multiplier. Players control this tradeoff at the start of each round. A 97% RTP applies regardless of the mine count selected.

How Mines Differs from Standard Crash Games

Unlike crash games where the player reacts to a rising multiplier on a timer, Mines gives players full control over the pace of each round. There is no time pressure — players can take as long as they want between cell selections. This makes it a more deliberate format. The decision to continue or cashout is made after seeing each safe cell, rather than during a continuously running timer.

Practical Approach

Setting a target multiplier before the round starts and cashing out when that target is reached — rather than continuing to push for higher values — is the most straightforward discipline in Mines. The temptation to uncover one more cell after a large multiplier is already visible is the most common source of single-round losses. As with all RNG games, previous round results do not affect the mine placement in the next round.
